QIE Repair Warranty Policy
All repair / service warranties, are for the complete unit and for
the stated duration unless amended on the quote prior to customer approval.
Standard In House repairs
are warranted to our customer for a period of 3 years from
the date of invoice, free from defects in materials and workmanship.
Component Tested items
are warranteed to our customer for a period of 12 months from the
date of invoice, and shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship.
Out Sourced items
are warranteed to our customer for a period of 12 months from the date of
invoice, and shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship.
Warranty period will be as stated above unless otherwise stated on the Quotation
prior to approval. Our obligation shall be limited to the repair or replacement,
at our choice, of any defective item free of charge to our customer; if we decide
that the item cannot be repaired or replaced, we shall credit your account in the
amount equal to the sum you paid to us for the repair. Freight, rush fees, or
minimum billings for the item remain the responsibility of the customer. Any
warranty claim must be received before the end of the warranty period for that item.
Any warranty is void if item failure has resulted from, abuse, accident,
contamination, operation exceeding the rated capacities, misapplication, negligence,
unauthorized replacement or "cannibalization" of parts, storage, handling, by the
Customer, or catastrophic failure conditions (Acts of God / Nature). Warranty will
exclude failure due to wear from mechanical manipulation of parts such as overlays,
keypads, or touch screens, as well as consumable parts such as batteries, fuses, or
